Playpod is a FREE after school activity held in the school grounds of Barrack Heights Public School on a Tuesday afternoon starting at 3pm and finishing at 4.30pm. Children from Yr 2-6 who are currently enrolled in Barrack Heights Public School are welcome Each week there will be afternoon tea, a program of fun activities that introduce new skills and experiences, an area for free play and a space to chill out. Spaces are limited and priority is given to families who are recommended by the school and other community groups. Playpod commences the second week of each school term and finishes on the last week of each school term. This is a community develop program and as such rely on volunteers to support the delivery of the program. We are currently seeking volunteers who enjoy working with children and have an interest in supporting children with cooking, gardening, art and craft and physical activity.
